I am, first and foremost, a nerd. Don't let that fool you, I'm not saying this out of any sort of self-loathing. I'm proud of my nerdiness. I really love being a nerd, because nerds are great people. We're smart, we have good senses of humour, and yes, we do still have the same interests as normal people. We're not that weird...well, I am. But that's just me.
As a nerd, I've had a few different dreams in my lifetime. I've wanted different jobs. My first thought was graphic design. I'm not an artist, though, so I gave that up. I then wanted to be a novelist. Unfortunately, writing fiction doesn't put food on the table until you actually start selling books. So now I'm studying web design. However, I still intend to focus on writing. I love writing, and this is the best way for me to start getting my name out there.
Most of my stories are either fantasy or science fiction. A lot of people will notice my inclination to write very depressing stories. No, I'm not emo. I just like drama. And most people will notice that I usually at least a little bit of romance in my stories. I appreciate romance, but I don't write Harlequin crap. Don't like people showing a little bit of emotion? Go read something else. I'm sure you can find some hack who has nothing better to do than write a mindless zombie spy somewhere. That said, if you do appreciate romance the way I do, then go and read.
There are no cryptic messages in my words, no morals in my stories. These are just my dreams. - Me, 2005
